Varadero - Aqua International Dive Center
Description of seabed:
Notable in this seabed are greatly developed sea fans and diverse coral species between which swim a great variety of coral fish that eat out of divers' hands. An impressionable site is a coral reef bordered by the Coral Beach coast. Swimming from the beach, you can reach sites from 1 to 20 meters (3 to 66 feet) in depth where more than 30 coral species abound. Some have flowering surfaces which connect and unite forming canals, corridors or caves where a very interesting fauna is sheltered. Another interesting site is the Saturn Cave, a cave flooded with fresh water possessing a free surface and two galleries which reach a depth of 20 meters (66 feet). Its waters are extraordinarily transparent, giving you the feeling that you're diving on air, with abundant secondary formations, stalactites and stalagmites of curious shape. During your dive here you can discover fish and blind shrimp. In general, marine life abounds including angel fish, barracudas, lobsters and green morays up to 2 meters (6.5 feet) which peacefully eat out of the divers' hands.
